Playing two guitars together and vocal loops- Ash Mandrake

The lower guitar is a hybrid cross between a partially defretted baritone and a 12 string. It has 10 strings and runs from 'A' seven frets below a normal guitar bass 'E' and 'A' five frets above a normal guitar high 'E'. It has a piezo under the bridge and Seymore Duncan Bass pickups.The top guitar is a normal 6 string electric, with aged recondiitoned Dimartzio pickups. Both pairs of pickups are set up as humbuckers. Ash plays both guitars at the same time and slips in a vocal loop (using a Boss RC-20XL Loop Station) half way through using the mic which is also attached to the guitar. Ash started experimenting with playing both necks at the same time after hearing somebody had been playing two at the same time in Glastonbury Festival. That person was Rodney Branigan (check him out on youtube) Ash Mandrake did a UK tour (Wales, The Midlands and the South of England) from Sept to Jan of 2008. He is currently in the studio recording his first album, and will back out on the road again in March. He'll be pushing into new territory (still in the UK) throughout 2009. His act is about entertainment; about the music, the double neck guitar, the hats, the stories and the use of loop machines. The music featured in this video is part of a song called "Rolling Down Hill To The Bright Summer Sun". It's is a cellebration of the rising sun, and The Vernal Equinox. Classic Game Room HD reviews GUITAR HERO VAN HALEN for Xbox 360, also on Playstation 3 PS3, Nintendo Wii and the venerable PS2. Play with the band or just guitar and bass, Guitar Hero Van Halen may not be the best Guitar Hero as of late but it still packs about 2 dozen early Van Halen tracks and numerous other songs. Play as Van Halen with short hair and a new bass player (Wolfgang!) or rock out in spandex with David Lee Roth, Alex and Eddie and Wolfgang Van Halen! Yes, I'm missing Sammy Hagar and Michael Anothony, as well as the chance to relive the 80's as Van Halen, but the game is playable and fun. It lacks the polish of Guitar Hero Metallica and the storyline of Guitar Hero Aerosmith, and in many ways falls flat where it could have really exploded off the screen with 80's MTV awesomeness. It's no surprise that the game was available as a freebie with Guitar Hero 5 but that doesn't mean it's a bad game, it just comes off as sub par compared to the other excellent Guitar Hero releases. He put together a small band of whom only Pete York had played on the previous album, the most notable of the newcomers (from a fame perspective at least) being Andy Summers, later of the Police, on guitar. An orchestra is once again deployed; this time we have the Philharmonica Hungarica Orchestra conducted by Eberhard Schoener. To understand the motivation behind "Sarabande", we need go no further than Jon's own words: "(it is) that of a baroque dance suite; a form of music which was brought to its highest level by Bach. The title of each track is the name of a dance used in one of those dance suites and I have tried to use the same tempo and feel as an original Sarabande, Gigue etc." The music is therefore written by Lord himself, but he makes his inspiration clear. Ask a music expert though and they will tell you that Lord's lofty pretensions are at times suspect, the "Fantasia" and "finale" here having little to do with baroque, while several recognised baroque dances are overlooked.
