The group was initially composed of brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine. Audio: 25 tracks using Logic 8 on a Mac Pro Quad-Core. 2 Presonus Firepods and 1 MOTU 896 audio interfaces The 2 bass guitars and the piano were run direct. Mixed in Logic 8 over the next 3 weeks. Video: Recorded with 10 cameras, 9 handicams and 1 DVCam. The video was edited using Final Cut Pro during a 1 week period. The final video was assembled using Final Cut, Soundtrack Pro and Logic.

Can You Picture That? : A tribute to Jim Henson

Ever since I could remember, I've always wanted to cover this tune... So I recorded it (after 20 years of saying I would). In light of the anniversary of Jim Henson's death being today, May 16th. I figured it would be fitting to post this recording in his honor for all the great memories and wonderful things he has given me in his life... not only really in my life, but also in the lives of my children too. In an evening, I started throwing down the drum tracks, bass & vocals. Later my friend Dale stopped by and I asked him to throw down some guitar tracks. Matching it up to the original video from the Muppet Movie was an after thought that worked out pretty well. The audio was recorded by Myself & Dale Tippett, the video is all raw from the movie as it was originally played in the film. I do not own the video, or the song itself, all of which is the sole property of Jim Henson / Muppets etc... John Frusciante & Josh Klinghoffer - Sphere Album: A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence (2004) A Sphere in the Heart of Silence is the fifth album in a series of six solo efforts that John Frusciante undertook from June 2004 to February 2005, and his eighth overall release. It is an album composed mainly of electronica-based material, and was a joint collaboration between John Frusciante and friend Josh Klinghoffer. Both of them perform vocals; John Frusciante sings lead vocals on "Afterglow", "Walls" and "My Life", and shares vocals with Josh Klinghoffer on "Surrogate People". Here's how it happened: I've spent so much time making this song, that I haven't been sleeping much or at all. Frequent nights have been spent recording, and editing, and arranging, and composing. I only allowed myself to sleep when I reached the point where lying down would result in passing out. I almost don't remember what my life was like before I began to create this. I went into work one morning at 6am, after being up all night working on the song. Due to my fatigue, which has near the same effect on me as alcohol, I exhibited a general apathy toward everyone and everything. My manager called me into the office to ask me why I had been performing rather poorly as of late. This was not the day that I would sit idly and listen to this garbage. In fact, I decided to just speak honestly and say what was on my mind. I proceeded to unleash a tirade against the company I worked for, explaining how whoever was in charge ultimately had no sense or logic. My manager was caught completely offguard. I must have said something they didn't agree with, because I was then told that I was let go, and that I should immediately go home. I happily obliged, and returned home, and proceeded to continue working on the song. The very next day I finished it, and I was content.
