The band mentions Placebo (whose show they opened in 2010), Muse and Radiohead as their main influences, combining rock with electronica and charismatic vocals. They're notable for gathering a significant following without major investing or record label and are one of the pioneers of internet self-promotion in their area. Marakesh's song Jdat appeared in the GTA 4 video-game soundtrack, resulting in over 130 thousands official and over 100 thousands unofficial views of its music video. To date, the band has released 2 full-length albums. The singles appeared in the School series, aired on Channel One, a TV-channel with the widest reception area in Russia. The band was nominated for Russian music awards FUZZ 2008, RAMP 2007, 2008, 2009.
